Technology Development
Cambridge Design Partnership is a consulting company that develops innovative new products in the medical, consumer and cleantech sectors. Our team is strong in experimental development, and includes physicists, biochemists, material scientists, optics engineers and fluidics specialists providing our clients with the capability to create new product technologies. In the video below Dr Keith Turner explains more about our capability in technology development.

For the most profitable companies growth is founded on unique intellectual property (IP).
At Cambridge Design Partnership we have a team of scientists and engineers dedicated to creating new technologies which provide our customers with a competitive advantage.
First of all, we create a technology strategy. This involves analysing existing technologies and IP landscape, and identifying opportunities for innovation.
The foundation of our approach is to get the underlying science right. This maximises the value of the IP.
To achieve this we recruit only the most creative scientists, with diverse backgrounds covering physics, engineering-science and biochemistry. For example, this includes PhDs in high-speed optics, nanotechnology, biomechanics and many others.
We are commercially focused on delivering to tight timescales and clear objectives to minimise time to market.
At Cambridge Design Partnership, technology development is integrated into the overall product innovation process which ensures it is focused on meeting the needs of the end user and creating value for our customers.
You can hear more from my colleagues about other parts of our integrated innovation process elsewhere on this website.
