Careers

Cambridge Design Partnership provides opportunities for our employees to grow and flourish in an environment that is challenging, creative and fun.

Our brilliant staff of engineers, scientists and designers have grown rapidly to establish a world leading reputation for technical excellence, astute project management and, above all, thinking differently.

All of our employees have an opportunity to develop their career through training, support and experience. We encourage a positive, flexible attitude whilst working in a fast moving commercial environment. Employees are faced with new technologies and projects on a regular basis creating a strong team working ethic allowing constant learning through practical experience.

Our projects involve multi-disciplinary teams working together to solve some of the most intractable of our clients’ problems in a range of sectors including consumer, medical, healthcare, industrial and clean-tech.

To encourage our staff to enjoy themselves whilst working we provide a subsidised canteen, regular social evenings, regular lunchtime activities, including fund raising events and pub outings. Some of our staff also organise running, football, table tennis, flying, cycling, squash and much more. In addition to this we provide an excellent benefits package.

We are looking for bright, conscientious people with a practical ‘can-do’ attitude. If you would like to become part of a company that is growing with real opportunities, please email your cv to recruitment@cambridge-design.co.uk.

This is what our staff say:-

“CDP is a fantastic working environment for engineers and designers. Creativity and quality are the very ethos of the company and this is apparent in every project we work on and every team we work in. With great benefits, great colleagues and an environment that fosters innovation – what’s not to love?” - Software Engineer

“Many of us are entrepreneurs at heart and it’s great that we can follow our passions using the internal ‘personal projects’ framework and I love that there isn’t someone looking over your shoulder every day telling you what to do – the culture is very much about ‘getting the job done’ and emphasis on being a self starter” – Mechanical Engineer

“A company where you are challenged to achieve your full potential as a professional with responsibility and reward. A place where you work with outstanding colleagues, whilst feeling amongst friends. Espresso on tap, with scope and support to develop your own best ideas. A feeling of a community that works and plays together. Surrounded by countryside and creative bright spaces. Lots of winter snowball fights and summer frisbee. The satisfaction of doing great work in a fun environment.” – Mechanical Engineer

“Being a ‘Year In Industry’ student the environment at work is just as important to me as what I do, I need to be able to look forward to coming in – it’s like a big family, and I love the fact that you can really enjoy being here! “ - Student
