Mike is an award-winning professional engineer and designer with over 20 years experience in the new product development field. He is named as inventor on a large number of patents across the world. Mike has created products for international organisations such as GEC, Black & Decker and Mattel as well as many smaller companies in specialist fields. He has founded and led a number of new technology based businesses including Cambridge Design Partnership. He has a continuing interest in education and regularly lectures on design.
