Cambridge Design Partnership works with MOD on life-saving battlefield technology
Cambridge Design Partnership today announced that it has been granted an award to work with the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) to design a product that monitors vital signs of wounded soldiers during retrieval from the battlefield.
The highly skilled team at Cambridge Design Partnership who will be taking on the project were previously responsible for designing an award winning oxygen concentrator. The device was designed in collaboration with the Centre for Defence Enterprise (CDE) to provide aid in battlefield situations by safely delivering potentially life-saving oxygen to wounded soldiers on the front line.
“We’re thrilled to have been granted this award,” said James Baker, Senior Engineer, Cambridge Design Partnership. “This project will harness the military healthcare experience of Cambridge Design Partnership and once again take innovative technology into battlefield healthcare.”
